Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Despite their stunning color, blue amorphous are not truly blue. Like all butterflies, amorphous have tiny, overlapping scales covering their wings. The scales upon their wings have tiny ridges that naturally reflect blue light. So even though the butterflies aren't actually colored blue, their wing tops look blue to our naked eye. Blue amorphous spend most of their time on the rainforest floor blending right in with Mother Nature as the underside of their wings are brown when folded up. In addition to their natural camouflage they also have two brown spots on each wing which look like eyes to hide them even more. The entire life cycle of the blue morpho is only a mere 115 days.
