BLUE IGUANA by KAREN WILES
Photographing wildlife is difficult at times as the subject does not always want to cooperate. I followed this beautiful blue and green toned iguana in Key Largo and waiting for the right moment was trying. He didn't like my big eyed camera and ran away from me. He would then return near me as if to tease me for a pose just one more time. He finally scampered up a nearby palm tree and disappeared. Just as I thought I had lost the shot, he reappeared in the perfect spot to take just one more curious look at me. With the perfect angle lighting from the sun, my patience and determination had paid off, at least this time anyway! lol...
