"Mangrove Reflections" is a grand horizontal art of the beautiful mangrove roots of Florida found in the keys, from the Everglades all the way down to Key West.
Mangrove Snapper fish love hiding among the roots of this type of salt habitat. The reflections of the crystal clear green waters is amazing in itself and displays great detail, even in a very large 60"+format.
Mangroves occur worldwide in the tropics and subtropics. The total mangrove forest of the world is 137,800 square kilometres, spanning 118 countries and territories. They are salt tolerant, also called halophytes, and are adapted to life in harsh coastal conditions. They contain a complex salt filtration system and root system to cope with the salt water immersion and wave action. They have adapted to the low oxygen conditions of waterlogged mud.
