A surfer riding huge waves shoots through the pilings at the Surf City Pier in Surf City, North Carolina. Known as one of the best surfing spots on the entire East Coast, the beaches' popularity grows every day...Competitions are held throughout the year and the small city is appropriately named "Surf City."

Incidentally, it is highly illegal to "Shoot the Pier" as it is extremely dangerous for obvious reasons...
